I am teaching classes to M.Sc. and Ph.D. students - mostly at the Barcelona GSE and the IDEA programme at the UAB.
My main experience is in teaching an intersection between political economy, public economics and development economics. But I am increasingly teaching Data Science as well. Here my main experience is in teaching forecasting techniques and text mining.
It is key in my view that students learn how to combine theory and empirical work. My own experience learning econometrics was that I only really retained information when statistical properties were taught together with applying them.
